Purpose of SWIM
21st Century is the new era for missionary works. Through the product of technology, the Internet, the world is becoming globalized along with information and culture.
The Internet has had opened many doors to the places where missions are forbidden. With this technology, however, gospels of Jesus can be heard worldwide. In addition, we wish to achieve the following with this opportunity: create archives of missionary materials that are available in every language, produce NON-RESIDENTIAL MISSIONARY through the Internet to foster mission works on one-on-one basis to achieve excellent and priceless missions, provide necessities to local missionaries by creating a special alliance group consisting of local NON-RESIDENTIAL MISSIONARY, churches, and organizations, and form a network of missionaries within a certain area through the Internet.
In addition to above, we wish to prepare to provide education for missionary children (MK) and invaluable services through trained youth who are capable of local NON-RESIDENTIAL MISSION works.
Since the Internet could be used as the method of providing materials to missionaries, and it could also be used as future mission woks toward our youth. Thus we wish to provide opportunities to young adults to fixate "Christian Culture" and to participate in missions through the Internet.
In addition, we would like to actively participate in performing mission works for those who are physically challenged through the Internet and foster them as the Internet missionaries. With ceaselessly advancing Information Highway, these mission woks will: present perceptions of future to those that specializes in the field, open opportunities for them to participate in mission works, and achieve universality of mission works.
